musings of a ragamuffin

So, I’m still sitting around 50% of the way funded for me to be able to go to Uganda, with 10 days to go. Some stuff happened today, so things are changing for the good. Some folks donated, and other arrangements were made for some of the other, including some help from Scoutmob, so the bottom line is, we’ve only got to raise about $1500, and we’re well on our way already.

She has been absolutely crushed that she couldn’t go with me because the money wasn’t there, and because it’s such a huge life event, I really want her to be able to go. Plus, she has been as huge a supporter for the cause of Blood:Water Mission as I have, and what they do means just as much to her as me. Also, in terms of the adoption issue which I’ve mentioned earlier, well, there’s nothing like seeing it firsthand and since our adoption has been focused on Uganda, there ya go. I want nothing more right now, than for her to be able to go with me on this trip, and will work as hard as I can to make it happen.

SO, still in need of people to walk alongside us financially on this, still very appreciative for those that can, and those that will, and this is going to be a crazy sprint to make it happen.
